Episode 1: Dr. Lindsey Snyder discusses the endocannabinoid system, cannabis research, the effects of cannabis on the adolescent brain, and more.

Dr. Lindsey Snyder graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her PhD in neurobiology, where she focused on studying novel, alternative treatments for pain and itch conditions. She also trained at the Translational Neuroscience Program at the University of Pittsburgh and studied the effects of cannabinoids on neural circuit development. Her experience in translational science include positions with Pittsburgh-based investor and consulting groups where she refined skills in due diligence and business development of early-stage companies. Currently, she works as a postdoctoral associate in the Graduate School of Public Health to accelerate the clinical translation and commercialization of technologies with the potential for positively impacting the health of the global population by assisting with the formation and operation of early-stage companies. She received her B.S. in neuroscience and psychology from Allegheny College.
